Mrs Oluwakemi Kalesanwo

Deputy Director, Foreign Department


Oluwakemi Yetunde Kalesanwo was born in the United Kingdom. She is an indigene of Lagos State from the Okusanya/Obayomi family of Igbogbo Town in Ikorodu Division. She had her First Degree in Education/English from Lagos State University in 1990 and a Master’s Degree in Education Administration from University of Lagos in 1992; she equally has an Advance Diploma in Human Resources Management from the same University in 2000.


She is presently a Deputy Director with Lagos State Scholarship Board with extensive management experience.


As a mark of her dedication to duty she was awarded;“The Most Outstanding Senior Officer of the Year” in June 2013 by, the former Governor of Lagos State, Mr. BabatundeRajiFasholaSAN.


Kemi is a member of the following professional bodies: Institute of Public Administration Of Nigeria, Nigerian Institute of Training & Development and Nigerian Teachers’ Institute.


 During the cause of her duty she constantly comes in contact with the youths and their parents. Kemi is very passionate about the welfare of youths and women. She naturally gravitates towards them believing that they can bring about social change and positively impact the society.


Kemi is a professional teacher as well as a motivational speaker and her hobbies are: reading motivational books, watching inspirational movies and meeting people of like minds. She is happily married with children.
